One Year Ago

Today would have been Mum's 80th birthday.
This time last year, I took Mum out of Avalon for lunch at the Village Inn, with no inkling she only had another three months to live. She was so happy and vibrant that day, and thoroughly enjoyed a bowl of tomato-basil soup with a plate of fish and chips.
