Dad's Marker
Posted Tue, 12/09/14
Dad's headstone arrived today. Clint from Probst Family Funeral Home kindly sent me a snapshot of the marker, which will be placed on Dad's grave in Heber City within a few weeks (after being set in concrete).

The Veterans Administration (VA) did the headstone for free because Dad was in the Navy. I think they did a great job (Irish cross and all)!
It took more than two months to receive the marker because of the miles of paperwork, but I think it was worth it.
I wish I could share the photo with Mum. However, at this time, she does not even remember attending his funeral or realize he's gone.
Its just sad, all the way around.
