Shiver & Snuggle

Brrrr! The last few weeks have been bone-chillingly cold in my neck of the woods.
I'm not one to usually complain about the cold, but even my preference for winter has limits. When the "high" temperature for the day doesn't get much above eight or ten degrees, clothes and coats seem useless against the relentless freeze. My office is also a tad chilly, somewhat akin to a meat locker. The other day I saw my breath in the air. At night, I get under a few blankets with Kiki and an old electric heating pad. Not like me at all.
However, I still prefer the cold to searing heat. Summer will be here soon enough.
