Non-Fiction Gush

Posted Thu, 06/13/13

It's been a busy few weeks. While dealing with premature summer heat, I managed to finish one of the three culinary titles mentioned last month (The Pirates Table), and I'm well on my way to finishing the second (Jewish Cuisine).

My fiction writing has suffered as a result, but it's never very far from my thoughts. I tend to write "scholarly" non-fiction best during the summer months (no real imagination required), while fictional storylines seem to gush most during the cooler seasons of autumn and winter.

You'd think I'd learn to recognize my own writing patterns by now.
