Collective Rehash

I'm re-reading books 1-8 of the Collective Obsessions Saga in order to familiarize myself with the characters again as I write book nine (Limb of Iniquity). It's almost like gathering with a group of old friends.
The re-reads are also bringing back fond memories of one of my favorite characters creations: the unique and unforgettable Larkin family chef Claude Mondoux (1845-1936), who appeared in book #1 (The Advent) and book #2 (Quixotic Crossings). Claude's physical appearance is based on the late actor Robert Addie.
