Mixed Bag

I'm really enjoying the new series The Blacklist, which airs Monday nights. James Spader is a delight to watch as the smooth elitist criminal Raymond "Red" Reddington. Spader is perhaps one of the most underrated actors of my generation. While the show hasn't overtaken my top favorites Law & Order SVU and Criminal Minds, it is running a close third.
On a totally unrelated note, my favorite time of year is fast approaching. I've always loved Halloween, probably due to a mix of spooky doings and the cooler weather. I don't scare easily, so horror movies are usually lost on me although I do enjoy them. I think my favorite all-time spooky flick is Phantasm, followed by the Halloween movie series.
